Consignment Rental Program
Overview
Gulf
Coast RV Rentals is expanding its rental fleet and working with owners of
recreational vehicles and travel trailers to establish a long-term relationship
for our mutual benefit.
This
program is designed with the owner in mind. It allows you complete use of your
motorhome whenever you need it. It
allows you to make money with your motorhome when it is not in use. We handle EVERYTHING
, all the owner does is supply us with the motorhome or travel trailer.
The
amount of income you derive from consigning your motorhome depends on many
factors including but not limited to: Year, make, model, size, type,
special features on your motor home, how much you use it, and customer
demand.
HOW
THE PROGRAM WORKS
You
let us rent your motorhome whenever you are not using it.
We
do the advertising, arrange the rental, collect the money, maintain your
motorhome, make repairs, store it, make rental preparations, and supply you with
monthly reports detailing all activity.
In
return the owner will receive 60% of all rental fees, mileage charges, and
generator usage fees.
Repairs
and Maintenance will also be split 60/40.
Monthly
you will receive a statement listing all rental activity and all deductions
(insurance, storage, maintenance, and repair), with a check for the difference.
BENEFITS
Although
no guarantees are made as to the frequency of rentals or income you will
receive, your income can be enough to:

the insurance
Pay
for maintenance and repairs
Pay
for storage
Put
money in your pocket
COSTS
The
only costs to the owner are:
Insurance
- which will be commercial and replace your current policy
Storage
- A monthly storage fee is not being charged at this time.
Maintenance
and repairs - will be charged to the owner at 60% of actual costs.
These
costs will be held out of monthly commission checks.
We
list your motorhome on our website and promote all of our units through
advertising such as: yellow pages, radio and special event promos.
Consigning
your motorhome through our program offers some tax advantages (contact your tax
advisor).
